The people asking ‘how do you get the plant to crawl up the wall?’ are at an all-time high again so here’s another repost: *FAQ’s* •The name of the plant behind the couch is ‘Neon Pothos’ •I use 3M outdoor light clips to help it climb (swipe left to see) •the aerial roots are not doing much in terms of anchoring the plant •Yes, the aerial roots are staining the wall a bit. If one day I take the plant down I’ll just repaint the wall •I use a self-watering planter for this plant and it’s placed on a self-made stool to suit the height of the couch (swipe left to see) •I don’t move the clips once they’ve been applied to the wall. I just add more clips as the plant grows •I’ve had this plant for 3+ years. It started out in a 15cm pot and not long at all. I first let it grow long, hanging by a window for about a year before I repotted it into the self-watering planter and attached it to the wall. It continued growing very fast •it is an Epipremnum, not a philodendron •It gets late afternoon sun as shown in the pictures •I deliberately made the stems zig-zag up a bit, for the look I wanted. • I do trim the top quite a bit. Also soon I’ll attempt to replace the old soil with new soil.
